In case you wonder how much a stamp will be in 2012 – read on. As listed on the USA.gov blog the price for a forever stamp is due to rise with 1 cent on 01.22.2012 and will be 45 cents. That’s an increase of little more than 2 percent from the price in 2011 which was 44 cents.
The price to mail a postcard in 2012 will also be higher by 3 cents making it 32 cents. The good news is that the international rates to mail a postcard will decrease by 7 percent, so if you have a grandma in Germany go for it. On the other hand mailing a letter to Mexico or Canada you will have to pay with 5 cents more.
In 2012 it is a good idea to buy “forever stamps”. If you need to mail a lot of letters you will be able to save 2.27 percent of the costs. Not much of a savings but it is something.
